Our team is sharing information about the Annual Statewide Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Conference, where experts share best practices and strategies to prevent child abuse.

Activities: Pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, popcorn, and more! Let’s raise awareness together.
Pinwheel Planting in Fredericksburg:

Location: Fredericksburg City Hall
Purpose: Promoting awareness and coordination across practices to prevent child abuse.
Family Fun Day & Resource Fair in Berryville:
Date: April 25, 2024
Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Rose Hill Park, Berryville, VA
Activities: Bouncy house, face painting, games, and more. Learn about adoption, foster care, and child abuse prevention education.
Celebrating Children’s Fair in Fluvanna County:
Date: April 27, 2024
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Carysbrook Elementary School
Features: Informational booths, vendors, and resources for children, parents, and caregivers.
Traveling Bake Sale in Fredericksburg:
Date: April 8, 2024
Time: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Purpose: Raising funds for FDSS Safe Sleep Campaign. Let’s make a difference together.
Advocacy and Awareness:
We’re using and sharing the Families Forward Virginia’s Social Media Toolkit to spread the word online.
Let’s engage in conversations about child abuse prevention, share success stories, and encourage others to join our cause.
