Need more information on the locations of Free Clinics?
Free health clinics provide medical care at little or no charge to low-income, uninsured, or underinsured people. They are usually community-based and funded by grants and private donations. There are over 1,200 free clinics nationwide, with North Carolina having the most.
To find a free clinic, you can use Healthcare.gov's Find a Health Center website or the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics website. Anyone can go to a free clinic for healthcare regardless of income or immigration status. Community health centers, migrant health centers, health centers for residents of public housing, and homeless shelter clinics may also provide free or low-cost healthcare.
